Peeps At Nana Lana's Designs

Been a few days since I last blogged. BTW, I was not really busy tho... I was just searching for the inspiration to blog. Crapz.

And, I was not really busy in designing for my college's Talent Search's posters neither. It just took me like for less than 1 hour? LOL. You might see me tweeting the hassles about it but frankly, I was just sort of fed up by failing to download Photoshop. Ain't knowing what's the problem either! And so, I have to make do with Photoscape instead. Afterall, it do assists me in completing my task. =)

With these graphics googled apart from that 17th's Got Talent logo....

I've came up with a few poster designs below.... LOL... Although the all designs looked similar but every poster design do have their differences! I might not be a superb professional individual in designing but I do have the passion for it! Tee Hee! Can you guys see it? NO? Wonder if it'll enlarge on you clicked on the image. =P

Yeah, I know that it seems irrelevant for me to add my pic above but I really don't know what to put up there apart from Nana Lana myself! Kononnya with my throne from designing! LMAO

BTW, I have yet to post up on something! YEAH, something which boosted my joy and happiness before this Raya Break! I AM STILL WAITING for the photos.... Sigh....

BTW, I bet I'm gonna be updating about the event soon. FYI (For Your Information), we, the "residents" of the 17th College, UPM are raelly very pathetic! Apart from being located in an *isolated* area, we have to fight so hard to earn MERITS in order to save a bed for ourselves! =( and perhaps that is why I've become one of the committee members for this event! LOL. JK lar, apart from the merits earning, I do enjoy my *job* too! Of having to design the posters and watching the talents of the students! Teehee!

MINI REVIEW : STEP UP 3 [3D]

FIRST OF ALL, a very BIG THANK YOU to FeeqSays Network for granting me double passes in the courtesy of Advertlets.com for the screening of STEP UP 3 @ Tropicana City Mall last night (25.08.2010)!

I tell you, this is just too cool to be watched! Imma so gonna bounce onto the dance floor one day and groove my way out in making all those gaga sleeky movements... GOSH

Story-line-wise...Nothing to be bragged on...With no particular climax that made me experience adrenaline rush like how INCEPTION did just to me!

Dance-wise, choreography was great. I was *affected and *infected! Wished I have the skills to move like 'em!

PERSONALLY, I feel that MOOSE (Adam G.Sevani) is the BEST MALE DANCER of all, I mean in the movie! NATALIE (Sharni Vinson) is gorgeous as well! The masquerade dance of her and LUKE (Rick Malambri) in her Birthday Party somehow made me wanna find a partner to dance with! LOL!

Was actually anticipating for LUKE to dance and to WOW me butta... kinda disappointed tho! And surprisingly, MOOSE's the one WOW-ing me to the MAX! *giggles*

The scene where Moose danced with Camille is very CUTE!!!! LOVE IT TOO!!!

Tell me that you're never gonna miss this!!! And you should, NEVER!!!

BTW, please do pardon me coz I couldn't rate by using stars here. People is made up of different mind. I like what I like and you couldn't be liking every single thing that I like. Ooopppsss!!! However, Imma ain't going for those movies like Vampire Sucks. Those gaga genre, sorry lah.... hahaha! =P

Met up with Ms.Hazel to get it tho~

I've been aiming a few Lomo Cameras but I just couldn't make up my mind on which one to get. LoLx.

It's all about "F-I-L-M-s" if I do really want to test my skills.

But for now, I'll just go for the Waterproof AquaPix ones first. Keke.

It's Gold & Silver (Harikin , Kumagin) in colour~ My oh My~ So tempting~ hahaz! Glad that I did not persist on the White UWS. =))) They make a good Christmas gift tho. Owww...


LUBITEL Lomo Camera is simply awesome! It's about 1K man! I can get a really GOOD Digital Camera ady~ LoLx! Blackbird FLY is of similar design with numerous funky colours~ Their effects are simply incredible as well!!! My oh My!!!

For digital lomo (no films needed), I'm actually aiming for either the limited edition MINIMO or NicoDigi or perhaps, VQ1015??? They are all keychain-sized! Incredible huh!!! Iwished there's really someone out there who can share his/her views on them. Perhaps it's all about personal preferences but it'll be good if I do get a lil or two advices. =)

On this very Sem Break... Apart from bragging with the little ones back home... I have a new *creation* Hehez!!! Guess what, this *accessory* was what I first saw at First World Plaza, priced at RM39.90!!! Gosh... Such a simple accessory could actually cost so *much*. For me, I wouldn't spend so much on something which I can actually Do It Myself (D.I.Y). LoLx!

So, how well do you agree with "Practice makes Perfect"? What if someone who kept practising on something 24/7 and the outcome was not really PERFECT??? WTH... Just WHATam I trying to say here? Craz Nerd.

Whatever it is... like what I've told 'ya all in the previous post that I'll be engaged with two dance performances which will leave me kinda unable to catch up with my own self study and so....which will ultimately led me to be unable to blog until I really have the time to do so. I guess it will be most probably after those performances, which fall on two consecutive day... Ouchhh....

I'm enjoying what I'm doing now for the sake of having more experiences. I've never performed on-stage until I stepped my feet into this ever bewildering varsity life. You may say that I'm greedy. Greedy for the stage though. Butta, I'll only be crazy if I do have my mate to share with me for it. Yea. Anticipating for more.

For now... I'll just practice, practice, and practice for 'em whenever I have the time... =)

2 Big Nights =D

Have I ever told you, my dear readers, that I went Mid Valley instead of going back to JB last weekend? NOPE. Was supposed to meet up with a senior for discussing the dance performance for CAD Night but ended up to be in the Mega Shopping Centre when I failed to get any reply from 'em. =P (excuse).

To me, I just need a breather to let things take its course without losing myself. Hence, MV might just be another source for me to loosen up from the homesickness. Yea, definitely. Well, it was supposed to be just MINES but with majority's vote, there we went, to MV.

Gosh! I HATE KTM! People pushing around, squeezing you, and ew... the armpits odour, OMG OMG OMG!!! For all I can, I would really try hard, as hard as I can to avoid standing near or being squeezed by those foreigners! Apart from the armpits odour, they just simply have a "PROMINENT" kind of *s-m-e-l-l* which me, myself, and I could NOT stand or else, I would just use my mouth to breathe! =P

Well, my main purpose was to just to get a belt for my FIESTA-themed Chinese Annual Dinner Night for my course. Apparently, the theme for the year was "GLAM FIESTA". As for me, I would choose Fiesta over Glam coz.... I just can't bring out the GLAMOROUSity in me. I doubt I have that. As for Fiesta-sorta-Flower-themed, I guess, I may just bring out the sampat-ness in me! Wahaha!

Anyways, the Faculty's Night will be at the end of this month... da 31st... Themed "Noir Blanc"... If everything goes smoothly, might have a chance to perform for that Night too! HAHAZ!!! So, I'm just waiting... Anticipating for both performances although I'm not a superb performer lar~ keke! =P

I went for “Mamma Mia” today! Oh man, that’s it! That’s just it! That’s what I love! It’s totally my “thing”, my cup of tea! Absolutely and don’t ever doubt it! A total combination of line story-cum-musical show! Muacks! Can’t wait for High School Musical 3 which is releasing soon! Ar.... Apparently, most of the singers in HSM uses their nasal-power so, sometimes, it sounded, er... too-nasal! Wakaka! Hm, now, what will I be expecting, baby? Yeah... I’m gonna get myself the Soundtracks for the movie, Mamma Mia! Any Samaritans volunteer to download it? Wakaka, I’m not an avid nor a professional in downloading stuffs in net anyway...

Two days ago, went for “Connected” [should be “Halloween” in the first place!], I toppled on the popcorns and for today, I did the same! I ain’t getting high but it was just an accident! Wahaha! How I had wasted the popcorns man! Well, the popcorns really s*cks! Where is the honey? It just felt so bland! Edible yet tasteless... Buakssss....

Argh..... No K-ing for this week woh... Something which I really yearn for but seems unreachable for now! I have so many things to do yet so little time! Some ex-classmates asked me out for tea and I have to reject some more, wadui.... Sorry lar, my friends! We’ll go back UPM and find time to “yumcha” lar! Wakaka! Probably after Nov 5! Wahaha! Why? Coz that will be the last day of my final test! Heehee! Then, gonna go lepak puas puas!

I salute my friend for being courageous to give up his years of learning Science to pursue his real interest in life. As for me, getting regretful now. But still within my threshold. Since I'm here, I guess all I have to do is to persevere until the very end of the day. Right? Guess so.

Surprisingly, I came to know that one of my coursemate disliked this course too. To her, it's like wasting $$$ as she did not applied for any scholarships nor loans. Hm, her interest is almost same as mine. We were talking all the way through the Basic Medical Microbiology lecture yesterday. If I do name her here, I bet you guys will be in a total SHOCK. Buahahahaha! So, to play a little trick here, once again, the suspense game. Blek...

There's still a long way to go, a long long way ; never-ending. The route to the future is so dim and there's hardly any street lamps to guide the trespasser. For, it's not the route that anybody can just take and go. If you're given two choices, which will you choose? A psychological game and yet obvious result. I don't have to give you the result. You will know it once you've chosen your route. *grins*

[p/s: while blogging this, something which I hated incurred. Intrusion. Sorry but I really don't like it. When I wanted to be all alone, I really hope I'm just solely-alone with no interruption. That is why I ran all the way to my so-called "secret-frequent-old-place" in the faculty.

Pesta Tanglung

First, it was acting for MTB then, it was acting in a sketch for CAD and the day before yesterday, Friday Night, it was all about dancing and jumping. I was at my threshold. I had my fun to the fullest although my dancing wasn't that great enough.


I made mistakes. I missed out some steps. I'v forgotten some steps. I wasn't energetic enough. My groove wasn't enough. Anything else? Only the audiences will be able to notice.


Despite all that, once again, I really had my fun! Haha! I love my vest for the night, Bought it like for months but simply has no opportunity to wear it. The earrings, bought it like for years but hardly wear it too. Wahaha! What else? The dancing, like I've always wanted to do, to try and finally, I was really on the stage, dancing all the way with all my girls.

How was my performance? I don't know. How was my movements? I don't know either. Friends said "okay" but the truth? I don't know. Only they will know. The audiences. Wahaha.


London Bridge, I've fallen in love with you! For those ignorant of it, then I'll just leave you continuing to be in suspense. Wahaha.


Overall, it was a satisfaction. I couldn't ask for more. Couldn't expect more from an amateur dancer like me. Heehee. Not bad already lar wei. First time leh. Haha.

Yesterday, the 13th of September 2008, I was out with my cousin's family. Luckily I was in time to join in the gathering of the BMS chineses although I was a little bit late. Haha. After all that makan-makan sessions, the juniors, were dancing away but IT WAS A COLD SITUATION. Nobody joined in. Sighhh. Nevermind lar, shoik sendiri lar. Heehee.

As the time passes by, there were only 6 of us left. Wei Kiat, Yee Ling, Yan Ling, Yan Ai, Samantha and Narcist. Singing all the way to our hearts. It was nice. I love this. I hope to get more of it. Really.

Well, life is geting more and more fun as each day passes by. However, it can be more and more tempting for one to jump off the cliff as the works, assignments are piling up. Haha!

1st K-session

Yesterday, I went for my 1st K-session (ever since I left JB) at GreenBox Cheras Selatan with 3 fellow coursemates. Overall, it was fun because I do actually understand the words/subtitles. Haha! The whole session was all about English and Malay songs. However, I did belted out one Mandarin song. Reason? Well, basically, I loved the lyrics because of somebody's doing. Yeah.

First Home-Cooked Meal by Jacklyn???

Hey guys, guess what I did today? Everybody went back to their own hometown for this Merdeka break. As for me, I chose to stay here, in my hostel. Elaine, was not going back to Sarawak either and so, I have her as my only companion in our 8-rooms apartment.

We've bought vegetables for 3 days meal (dinner). For today, I'm in charge for cooking. Well, I guess that I'll be the one cooking after all... However, tomorrow Elaine should be cooking seaweed soup gua... try to buy marinated lamb chop tomorrow! Kuakuakua...

Here, Take a look at today's ingredients.

2 eggs

Totally No MSG, No salt, No sugar! A so-called healthy meal! Haha! In other word, it will be a totally TASTELESS meal! Who cares? As long as it can fills our baby stomachs! Haha! Errr, well, I do have pepper! Heehee!

Overall, it tasted MUCH MORE BETTER than the food served at the cafe of my college and faculty. Haha!

I did not manage to get a good snap of it since I was rushing for time. Well, I walked all the way to Sri Serdang area from my U with a few of my coursemates and a senior JUST FOR LUNCH. Yea, LUNCH....

da First In My Lifetime!

Haven't been blogging for quite some times. Apparently, since I've enrolled myself into UPM, life has been hectic for me. For the past few weeks, I have been deprived of sleep. Well, that did not really bother me that much because I CHOSE to be like that. I wanted to try something. Something which I've always wanted to do. YES.

After weeks of practising, weeks of enduring the pains, the enjoyment of making more friends from other faculties, I'm satisfied. The whole bunch of people was fantastic. I'm glad I've chosen to sacrifice my sleep in order to pursue my interest. Cool experience!

The day before the show, on the 11th of July, we gathered at 9pm for practice. Guess what,the practice went on until the next morning, 6.30am! NO JOKE, people! After that, we were allowed to rest...and to meet up at 7.30am! OMG! I slept in the bus instead! Haha! It was only a 15 minutes journey though. Joseph da Vet, who sat beside me woke me up when we've reached. Haha!I was sleeping like a log! I wonder if I did open my mouth? Impossible gua...

Upon reaching, time to practice and to rehearse again! While our Mentor was amending the steps and the soundtracks, we, the actors and actresses, went for a nap. I took 3 chairs and laid my body on them in a corner. OMG. What a scene! My first time man! And there was this guy, Shamir, who went around disturbing other people! I was really exhausted and yet, opened my eyes when he approached me. GOSH. Ding Dong Bell, and I went back to my nap when he walked away! Haha!

Oh yeah, what's my role huh? I was involved in 5 scenes.Let me see,da tribe, urban robotic gal, earthquake scene, tsunami scene and finally,a scene whereby I have to act so as toshow that I was in hunger after those disastrous calamities.

Although the show was just 7-minutes but the whole experience was just so fantastic! You will never get to feel the excitement and the tense when you're abyut to get on stage IF you've never been involved in any LIVE performance right in front of thousands and thousands of people when everyone seems like a tiny ant to you! Haha!

All in all, I could never forget the people I once worked with. Kojek, you're so cute! Hehe!
